Why did you choose to go into fashion?
I have always liked sewing, working on pieces of fabric, drawing and in general, creating. I knew I would do an artistic job, and became more and more passionate about fashion as I grew up, so I naturally ended up in the fashion industry. After a traditional high school curriculum, I went to a fashion school and immediately knew I did the right choice!

Could you describe to us your creative universe?
My universe varies according to my state of mind, but I am very open-minded! Globally, my universe is quite rock, but my collections for MonDéfilé are very different from what I create for Raven Blakk, my own brand. Raven Blakk is very punk and unisex while my capsule collections for MonDéfilé are graphic, uncluttered and feminine. I also like playing with volumes and propose different ways to wear one piece, and this is why I use so much zips.

What are your sources of inspiration?
Music is my main inspiration. I always listen to music when I am working because it is my driving force, whether it is rock or electro. I also listen to a lot of Scandinavian artists. The inspiration also comes from people I meet in the street, in the metro or at a party, who have a particular and “underground” style. I think the night life is very inspiring because people allow themselves to be more extravagant than at day!

Could you tell us a couple words about your collaboration with MonDéfilé?
We have been collaboration for two years now, and I have already proposed a jewelry collection and three capsule collections! So far it has been very enriching, because the team is very supportive and helps us from the first sketch to the production! It enables young fashion designers like me to be visible and reach a larger target.

If you were to be a piece of clothing or an accessory, what would you be?
I would be a pair of very high black platform shoes, for the “feminine-but-not-too-girly” side, and the “dark-but-still-girly” style.
