Why did you choose to go into fashion?
I have always been passionate about illustration and art. My love for fashion grew when I was still a teenager. At that time, I was living in Saint-Martin, and my only way to know what was fashionable were the magazines and TV. I chose to work in the fashion industry because of its “essential futility” (everybody gets dressed, whether they like fashion or not).

Could you describe to us your creative universe?
I like rock and comics (like Cat Woman and Wonder Woman). My favourite colour to work on is black (it is basic, deep, mysterious, sensual and deep) and I like to work with lines that give an uncluttered, adjusted, basic and structured side.

What are your sources of inspiration?
I have exactly four sources of inspiration: my father’s paintings representing self-confident and sensual woman living in luxury and abundance, Rihanna and her sexy provocative style, all super heroines, and women I see in the street.

Could you tell us a couple words about your collaboration with MonDéfilé?
I have been collaboration with MonDéfilé for three years, and it helped me reaching a “working-girl” target. As an emerging designer, MonDéfilé helps me being more visible on the Internet. Moreover, the idea of capsule collections is very interesting: customers can really discover the designers’ universe.

If you were to be a piece of clothing or an accessory, what would you be?
If I were a piece of clothing, I would be a black leather perfecto with silver zips and a red inner coat. If I were an accessory, I would be a pair of large hoop earrings.
