Why did you choose to go into fashion ?

I have always been very found of art and my interest for fashion developed little by little. I like the idea of being free and being able to expres my creativity as it comes to me. To make emotions go through the products I make is my first goal.

Could you describe to us your creative universe ?

Lylee Blu universe is a mix between the seventies and current trends. I revisit the smart bohemian style with a hippy touch. I want to reinvent a fresh and harmonious style with a glimpse at this seventies period, and add my personal touch to it of course.

What are your sources of inspiration ?

Events like the Woodstock festival, in 1969, are a source of inspiration for me. I follow all trends through fashion shows or street styles and magazines. I like to mix the style of yesterday and today. Music is also a growing source of inspiration.

How do you manufacture your pieces ?

I spend most of my time drawing sketches and assembling fabrics. Each collection is peculiar and I put a lot of time to design each one of them. For me each step is precious and has its importance. I am also very attached to my pattern-maker, who is an exceptional woman with an excellent know-how.

Could you tell us a couple words about your collaboration with MonDéfilé ?

It is a collaboration for which I am very grateful ! Moreover, the selected theme for the voting session fits exactly in my universe with its romantic bohemian side, and its soft colors.

If you were to be a piece of clothing or an accessory, what would you be ?

If I were a garment, I would definitely be a black velvet leather jacket with fringes.

If I were an accessory, I would be a scarf worn on the head like a headband.

"Lylee Blu is the most beautiful adventure of my life today !"
