Who are you?

I was born in Castellón, but I moved to Barcelona to study fashion and design and to become a master in image consulting. After having worked for a certain period of time as a designer and showcase stylist for some of Spain's leading ready-to-wear brands (Mango, Women's Secret, Inidtex), I launched my own project as Maza Have Jewellery and Accessories in 2012.

Why did you choose to go into fashion?

I have been interested in fashion since I was very young, and I remember reading fashion magazines every month with my mother and my sisters. My parents had an art gallery and they always encouraged me to discover art, and being surrounded by pictures from such a young age to a certain extent developed my artistic fibre, which finally led me to study fashion and design.

Can you describe your creative universe to us?

I like to discover the history of other cultures, as is the case with my latest collection,  for which I immersed myself in the history and the traditions of the Inuits, the indiginous people from the arctic region of the United States and Canada.

What are your sources of inspiration?

Rock n roll, psychaedelic culture, aesthetics, the style from the 60s and 70s, art...

Can you tell us a few words about your collaboration with MonDéfilé?

My meeting with MonDéfilé was at the international exhibition of ready-to-wear and fashion accessories Who's Next Paris in January where I presented my latest collection ISI / ᐃᔨSarah Fénérol came to our stand and told me about how much she appreciated the brand and that it would be great to launch a collaborative collection between MonDéfilé and Maza Have. I was truly inspired by the idea of entering into the French marketplace thanks to this site!

If you could be a piece of clothing or an accessory, what would you be?

I would be a magnificent piece of jewellery, special and magical. Jewellery is life!

"My universe is made up of things that arouse my curiosity and have a certain element of mystery which attracts me."
