Who are you?

I was born and now live in Barcelona, but I have also lived in Madrid and London, where I studied fashion jewellery design and accessories in the prestigious school Central St. Martins, among othersspecialized courses. I also hold a Degree in Advertising/PR, which I combined with classic dance and performance studies. I like thinking on myself as multifaceted, self-motivated, and in love with all kind of art manifestations.

Why did you choose to go into fashion?
For a few years I worked in fashion and trend magazines. That experience brought me to further appreciate art and fashion. I could say that more than I choose it, fashion chose me. It came from a deep need to express myself artistically. And, to bring beauty  to people makes me happy.

Could you describe to us your creative universe?
The imagination has not limits and our universe neither... so anything could inspire me. I chew on an idea, draw it, dream with it. Then, I will work with those materials that offer me freedom to express my ideas. From one collection to another you will distinguish different creations, but I think they always show my personal point of view.

What are your sources of inspiration?
Sometimes I find inspiration in the works of nature, architecture, past and future times…For example, our next collection will have an strong attachment to the 50´s with architectural and marine shapes inspired also for the Franck Lloyd Wright structures. Mostly, I like things that are delicate and strong at the same time,

Could you tell us a couple words about your collaboration with MonDéfilé?
I have known Mondefile for a time now. I like their business and aesthetic philosophy. I'm thrilled by this collaboration and I believe it will be a great plattform to further introduce La jara jewellery between online shoppers.

If you were to be a piece of clothing or an accessory, what would you be?
I know it  will sound a bit  cheesy... I would be a necklace to be closer to people hearts
