What to wear at a music festival?

Every year, the outfits we see at Coachella set the tone one what the fashionistas are going to wear for the whole festival season. If you’re planning on pacing up and down the summer festivals, here are the pieces you absolutely need to have in your wardrobe!

At a festival, the important is to be at ease in your clothes to jump, dance, walk around, etc. It is the perfect occasion to adopt the oversize look! We fall for the off-shoulders top by Lylee Blu, the Bleu Tango printed top, or the sleeveless lace top by Meryl Suissa, to wear with a long skirt like the long skirt by Luc Darribère or large pants like the Karine Amzallag large pants. Another comfy alternative is the cotton t-shirt, in the form of a printed t-shirt, like the Marie t-shirt by Godard Paris, the Milkwood printed t-shirt, or the Angélina Dangelser message tanktop. Instead of wearing it with classical slim jeans or boyfriend jeans, wear that printed t-shirt with designer shorts like the high-waisted shorts by Studio Baqué Molinié or the two-coloured shorts by the French blogger Adenorah, and a pair of sneakers or boots that don’t fear mud and soil. Obviously we do not forget to give a Coachella style to our outfit thanks to accessories like the jewellery from the new Monsieur Simone collection, like the Maxi Billy blue cuff or the Max coral bracelet.

Du pratique

In addition to comfort, the practical aspect cannot be neglected. The ideal is to always have your hands and arms free to be able to dance, carry a drink, take pictures, etc. The it accessory of the festival season is therefore the backpack like the Frivole leather backpack by Darris or the Studio Baqué Molinié backpack. Another practical alternative is the shoulder bar, in which you only put the essential: your phone, your credit card and your festival ticket. Our favourite ones: the Catherine Gaillard blue shoulder bag to wear with the backless jumpsuit by Tessa Delpech, the Vintange shoulder bag by Mamix, that goes perfectly with a Godard Paris sweatshirt, or the John John bucket bag by Maradji, to match a sweat dress like the Eon sweat dress.

Anticipate the weather

Every festival comes with a big question mark concerning the weather, that often decides to have a mind of its own. So we anticipate the good weather as much as the bad one! To prevent an unexpected downpour, we slip in our bag a parka like the Tenue de Saison parka or the Louise de Testa wind-breaker. On the other hand, to prevent the insolation if the sun decides to hit, we do not forget to take a large scarf like the Suprême Bon Ton scarf, or a classic red bandana by Mona Sultan, to tie around the head.
