The marble trend

The marble print invaded interior decoration shops a long time ago, and we’ve always loved it. For our greatest happiness, that trend extended to the fashion world, and the marble print is now all over our accessories and pieces of jewellery. Several MonDéfilé designers have adopted the trend.

The marble trend for Azucar

With a feminine and discreet universe, the designer of the brand Azucar, Cinthya, likes to create light and slightly coloured jewels. She finds inspiration in her environment and landscapes that surround her in her everyday life (peaceful, beautiful places where nature is omnipresent), so falling for the marble trend was inevitable. The designers made a collection of gold pieces set with marbled black pearls. With a slightly green marble, this collection makes any outfit chic and classy. The marbled pearls necklace can be worn with a low-cut dress like the silk and leather wrap dress by Olivier Battino, when the long earrings with marble pearls will go better with a pair of trousers like the Louise de Testa large cotton pants. As for the bracelet, it is one of those pieces that you can wear and never take off, because it goes with everything. With a few other golden bracelets like the Launi bracelet by Vélizance and the three pearls bracelet by Agnès de Verneuil, it helps making beautiful bracelet accumulations, giving cachet and style to any look.

The marble trend for Argument

Living in the fashion capital of the world (aka Paris), Anne-Shophie, designer for the brand Argument, also fell for the marble trend. Passionate about design, the designer likes to create jewels that give a particular place to shapes and materials. It was obvious the designer would make a very special place to the marble print in her new collection! In total, two rings, one necklace, one bracelet and a pair of earrings were designed by Argument and are on sale on MonDéfilé. The bracelet and the earrings go very well with a white dress like the bandeau dress by T’Edith. As for the rings, they give a feminine aspect to a casual outfit, for example a Godard Paris tee-shirt and a perfecto like the quilted leather perfecto by Bibana Paris. Finally, we save the necklace for fancy occasions like a wedding or a big night out, to wear with a jumpsuit like the crepe jumpsuit by Meryl Suissa or the high-waisted jumpsuit by Karine Amzallag.
