MonDéfilé’s Top 5: July 2014

As we welcome in July at the MonDéfilé office, we can’t help but notice that blue has become particularly popular this season. Some of our exclusive designers such as T’EDITH, LES ROUSSOEURS, and ARMANCE ROTCEIG have been channeling the ‘blue skies, blue sea’ tones that we associate best with Summer’s tropical paradise. So to get you in the mood for sun, sea, and serenity, we have decided to put together our favourite pieces from Summer’s most recent collections.

Esther Bonté’s Silk Scarf « Musée D’Orsay » : 114 Euros (was 190 Euros)

This graphic print is actually inspired by the view of the Musay D’Orsay from across the River Seine, but its dark, royal, and turquoise blue tones evoke much more a tropical vibe. Made in Italy from 100% silk this scarf is a luxuriously light extra layer and tonal dynamic that will brighten up any Summer outfit.

T’Edith x MonDéfilé Short Bandeau Dress : 145 Euros

This beautiful dress with a bow-inspired bandeau shape, gathered waistline, and flared cut is made from a combination of silk and cotton for the lightest fabric possible. To keep cool in the Summer months, this fabric is perfect, and so is its pale sky-blue hue.

Argument Large Size Golden Brass Ring : 44 Euros (was 55 Euros)

Keep the mood minimal but add a tonal contrast with this large size gold-plated ring from Argument. Its sleek oversized design will add a much-needed metallic dynamic to any Summer ensemble and is guaranteed to score you style points since metallic tones swamped the Spring / Summer catwalks.

Les Roussoeurs x MonDéfilé Long Sleeveless Cotton Dress : 165 Euros

This timeless 100% cotton maxi in a piercing turquoise blue will work by day or by night and particularly in a tropical climate. It will keep you cool in the heat, but covered by night, and the pale blue tone looks even more exotic against slightly bronzed skin.

Armance Rotceig x MonDéfilé Short Ruffle Dress : 102 Euros (was 145 Euros)

Finally, this deep royal blue dress by Armance Rotceig x MonDéfilé comes in a vintage-meets-futurist cut with a cinched waist, a flared skirt, and gathered shoulders. It is a distinctive but versatile silhouette, and the cut and colour here really add to its simple and adaptable design.
