Every year, the fashion calendar is rythmed with two types of events: brands presenting their new collections to potential buyers, and B2B events to make fashion professionals meet with one another. Here are the different events in France where it could be interesting for you to go.
Fashion events calendar
- March 29th & 30th, 2017: Made in France Première Vision
The Made in France Première Vision fair connects fashion professionals looking for French industrial skills and expertise. Among the exhibitors, you will find manufacturers, knitters, accessories brands, raw materials, professionals offering specific services, fashion trainers, etc.
- June 21st to 25th, 2017: Men’s fashion
Men’s fashion brands introduce their Spring/Summer 2018 collections to the fashion world at that time of the year. If you are in the men’s fashion industry, you now know the deadline to prepare your SS18 collection…
- July 2nd to 6th, 2017: Haute Couture
For Haute Couture brands, the fashion show period will take place from July 2nd to 6th, and will show the brands’ Fall/Winter 2018 collections.
- September 18th to 21st, 2017: TexWorld / Apparel Sourcing
The TexWorld Apparel Sourcing fair cannot be missed when you are looking for fabrics and manufacturing means provided in Asia (India, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh). It is THE inevitable event to find fabrics, accessories and supplies that will make your collections original and unique: threads, patches, lace, ecological fabrics, etc.
- September 19th to 21st, 2017: Première Vision Paris
The Première Vision fair takes place in Paris twice a year. During three days, six of the main trades in the fabric and fashion industry (threads, materials, leather, drawings, accessories and manufacturing) meet in Paris. Every trade has its own Hall. Manufacturing suppliers coming from Europe, Turkey, and Maghreb are all gathered at Première Vision Manufacturing.
- September 26th to October 3rd 2017: Ready-to-wear
At the beginning of fall, ready-to-wear brands will introduce to the fashion world their Spring/Summer 2018 collections.
Those events are essential in the process of creating a collection in order to source new fabrics, show your collections, check out the competitors, etc.
